* Anglesey Holiday Cottage *

Post  pentaran on Thu Mar 26, 2009 8:31 pm

I know some of you know that I lost my husband on Christmas day and my life was thrown off kilter somewhat , but Im trying hard to make the best of things and carrying on with life which is what he would have wanted. The depths of winter must be one of the hardest times to lose anyone, not that its easy at anytime , but the evenings are endless, so I made a decision very soon after christmas and it gave me something to do especially in the middle of the night when I could not sleep and hated the silence in the house even if it was only not hearing Mike snoring.
I completely renovated and re decorated the cottage and decided to do summer lets with it. I didnt want to rattle around in it so have moved for the time being into a big static caravan which we had on the yard.
Jane @marchellstud has been a total star in many ways and has looked after me like nobodys business, the bestest friend anyone could have and I will probably never be able to repay her but will try. You find out who your real friends are at times like this. She has also built me a web site for the cottage, so have a look and if any of you fancy a break Im sure we could do a White Blazes regulars discount!!
Also the Agency it is withs link as well for you.

Anne your post has brought a tear to my eye - I really admire you and what you are doing, knowing how much Mike meant to you, and seeing how such a true friend Jane has been. It's such a lovely place for anybody wanting a holiday on our lovely island, whether they are horsey or not, it is suited to anybody who appreciates the surrounding beauty from the lovely beach and admiring the lovely sunsets from the window, to walking the many gorgeous walks and taking in the fresh sea air. A haven for anybody who likes to be outdoors I think.

It's beautiful, Anne. On a practical level, there must be so many people who have a horse and dream of riding on a beach like that, but never have the opportunity.

Group hug Mike would be proud of your efforts.

Anne it looks fabulous & as I spent many a wet week in Anglesey as a kid (sadly in a caravan not a gorgeous cottage like yours), I would love my own children to see some of the sights of Anglesey. So if we have a nice summer we may well give you a call.xx

The availablity calendar "disappeared" for a while today because it was a free add on and because there had been so many hits it had exceeded the free limit!!!! Its now back up visible (all paid up now Smile ) - just in case anyone had problems viewing and was wondering what was going on !

Anne, Are you still thinking of hiring out your caravan too? The reason I ask is that my daughter`s boyfriends parents, are looking to hire a cottage,but it would have to accomadate 6 people. (3 couples) Just wondered if two could use the caravan?
