I am offering Tiri for sale to the right home as I feel she is wasted with me. She has been away to be 'educated' and was hacked out regularly and proved to be unphased by most things. She is approximately 13 - 13.1hh, I will put the stick on her later to check, and has been successfully shown in hand. She has a certain amount of attitude and will not be a novice ride until more work is put into her, but she would probably make a cracking pony club pony in time, or indeed a Welsh ridden prospect! I am too heavy for her and neither do I have the nerve to take on a youngster anymore. If the current economic climate was better I would have put her in foal this year but as a prospective brood mare she also has great potential.

Please pm me for more details and please note that I am in the far South West of Cornwall!

You are right there VI - I am not happy to be thinking of parting with this girl because she was bred by my sister - but circumstances recently mean some difficult decisions have to be made......but if the right home is not out there....she will be staying and I will have to think of some other way to manage!

I can totally understand why, especially in this climate. Maybe a loan home might be the next best thing. I hope what ever happens she gets the home she deserves. She must be delightful to photograph, she just oozes through the lens.

She's lovely
Her movement and head remind me of ours (Glynwyn for your eyes only) - I wish I was in a situation to have her

Thank you fiona1 - she can certainly look stunning when she wishes!!
To update - Tirion is now turned out for the winter as she started to throw a tiny splint and I did not want to make it any worse - the vet thinks it will disappear so am not too worried. She can stay out in the field for the winter and then in the Spring she will have to work whether she likes it or not

I hope the winter off does the trick for her x

Re: Glynwyn Tirion - 4yr old Welsh Sec C mare
Tirion is still available to the right home - her splint has almost disappeared now so I am not worried about the prospect of her starting work in the Spring - but due to the way age suddenly seems to be catching up with me, I will not be able to undertake her education
She is offered for sale or to a good loan home. She is being kept in at night, out by day. Up to date with worming, tetanus, teeth - shoes are now off. PM me if you require any further details. £1,000 ono.
